2.) IT IS THE POWER OF GOD TO SAVE (ROM. 1:16)
a.) All who believe
b.) All nationalities, both Jew and Greek (Jn. 7:37; Ro. 10:12-13; 2 Tim. 2:4)
c.) Salvation means:
1.) Deliverance from being lost (Mt. 18:11-12; Lk. 19:10; Jn. 5:14, 10:9) 2.) Deliverance from Sin (Mt. 1:21; Lk. 7:50; Jn. 3:17, 12:47; Eph. 2:8-9; 2 Tim. 1:9-10)
3.) Deliverance in the future (Ro. 8:23-24; 1 Thess. 5:9-10; 2 Tim. 4:18; 1 Pet. 1:3-5, 9)
4.) Deliverance from enemies and danger (Mt. 8:25-27, 14:30-31; Lk. 1:69, 71; Acts 27:34; Heb. 11:7; 2 Pet. 3:10-15)
5.) To make well, to heal to restore to health (Mt. 9:20-22; Mk. 10:51-52; Acts 4:9-10; James 5:15)
3.) IT IS THE REVELATION OF GOD’S RIGHTEOUSNESS (ROM. 1:17)
a.) The Problem: Man’s unrighteousness (Mt. 5:20; 2 Cor. 5:21)
