2.) THE JUDGMENT OF GOD IS ACCORDING TO TRUTH (ROM. 2:2-5)
3.) THE JUDGMENT OF GOD IS ACCORDING TO DEEDS: (ROM. 2:6-10)

a.) The well doer’s reward (Rom 2:7) (Gal. 6:9; 2 Tim. 3:14; Heb. 12:1; 1 Pet. 1:13; Rev. 3:11)

1.) Glory: (Mt. 13:43; Ro. 8:17; Phil. 3:21; Col. 3:4; Ps. 73:24; Ro. 8:18; 2 Cor. 4:17; 2 Tim. 2:10)
2.) Honor: (Jn. 12:26; 1 Cor. 6:2-3; Rev. 3:21; Ps. 91:14; Prov. 21:21, 22:4; Dan. 12:3)

b.) The evil doer’s severe judgment (Rom. 2:8)

1.) He is contentious against God (Mt. 22:3; Jn. 5:40; Ro. 10:21; Ps. 32:9, 78:8; Prov. 1:24-25; Isa. 46:12, 48:4; Hosea 9:17; Mal. 2:2)
2.) He does not obey the truth
3.) He does unrighteousness

c.) Every evil-doer is to be judged (Rom. 2:9) (Mt. 25:46; Lk. 3:17, 12:47; 2 Thess. 1:7-9; Heb. 10:29; 2 Pet. 2:19; Rev. 20:15; Ps. 11:6; Isa. 13:11, 26:21, 59:18; Jer. 21:14; Mal. 4:1)

d.) Every well-doer is to be rewarded (Rom. 2:10)

4.) THE JUDGMENT OF GOD IS WITHOUT RESPECT OF PERSONS (ROM. 2:11-15)

a.) The man who sins “Without the law” (Rom 2:12)
b.) The man who sins “In the law” (Acts 10:34-35; Ro. 10:12)
c.) The doers, not the hearers, of the law will be justified (Rom 2:13) (Mt. 7:21; Lk. 6:47-49; Jn. 13:17; James 1:22, 4:11; 1 Jn. 2:17; Rev. 22:14)
d.) The heathen have a threefold witness (Rom. 2:14-15)

1.) Their nature
2.) Their conscience (Heb. 9:14, 10:22; Ro. 13:5)
3.) Their thoughts (Jn. 14:6; Acts 4:12; 1 Tim. 2:5; 1 Jn. 2:1, 4:14)

5.) THE JUDGMENT OF GOD IS TO BE EXECUTED BY JESUS CHRIST AND HIS GOSPEL (ROM. 2:16)

a.) A specific day of judgment is coming (Mt. 25:31-32; Heb. 9:27; 2 Pet. 2:9, 3:7; 1 Jn. 4:17; Jude 1:14-15)

b.) In that day “The secrets of men” will be judged (Lk. 12:2; 1 Cor. 4:5; Num. 32:23; Eccl. 12:14)

c.) Jesus will do the judging (Mt. 25:32; Jn. 5:22; Acts 10:42, 17:31; Ro. 14:10; 2 Tim. 4:1; 1 Pet. 4:4-5)

d.) The standard of rule – Is the gospel (Jn. 12:48; 1 Cor. 15:1-4; 1 Tim. 6:3-5; 1 Jn. 3:23)

“God will judge us according to what we know and have the chance to know”
